Tim Burton Exhibit at MoMA

So we’ve finally had a chance to check out the Tim Burton Exhibit at the MoMA up the block, and it is the epitome of Tim Burton—-dark, funny, quirky, strange, fascinatingly original, and to sum it all up in one phrase: cool as hell. I guess you can say that my opinion is biased, since I have had a picture of Edward Scissorhands on my bedroom wall since the movie came out (and brought it to my “adult” apartment as a childhood souvenir). There’s just something amazing about seeing Tim Burton’s handwriting on a piece of loose-leaf paper with the story of Edward Scissorhands, among countless others, reminding us that it all started as just a thought.
